Hello, I’m Shallah Jones, also known as “Boxlord”—there’s a story behind that nickname! As an artist deeply involved in several respected Web3 projects, I take on the role of what I like to call a “bumbling cosmic artisan.” In the expansive universe of digital art, I craft galaxies with NFTs, storyboards, and characters. While my creations aim to perfectly capture my vision, they sometimes come with their own quirks—like a slightly misaligned star or an unexpectedly flamboyant comet tail. These imperfections are part of the charm, reflecting the overwhelming surge of creativity I navigate in each project. With a blend of humility and a strong commitment to innovation, I continue to explore the potentials of web3 technology, always eager to learn and adapt along the way.
I am working to learn how web3 technology can improve the entertainment industry by using blockchain and tokenization to give more control to creators and consumers. My approach involves collaborating with experienced professionals in the field to learn practically. This hands-on experience will help me develop and implement my own projects that aim to make the industry more decentralized and accessible.
Boxlord is a testament to preserving your creative inner child, rather than letting society squander it as we grow older. He embodies those wacky days of my youth when cardboard boxes were basically rocket ships to zany dimensions. The idea is that the younger we are, the closer we are spiritually to whatever awesome source created us. But as we grow, we tend to loose sight of it. Picture a deity, but reborn as a somewhat goofy entity (me), forever scratching his head, wondering where he left his cosmic powers. And then BOOM! He creates an insanely awesome world of his own. Like… a disco-ball planet where cats in superhero outfits DJ for moonwalking dinosaurs!

There I collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing concepts for the brand’s social media accounts. Due to NDA, the artwork I’ve created for Pudgy Penguins remains behind the scenes and under wraps.

THE MALLARD ORDER
I am an Illustrator, Comicbook Artist, An 3D Modeler for The Mallard Order, a Cardano-based NFT project that was launched in July 2022. The project is centered around a secret society of magical ducks who are hell-bent on dominating the world of Web3.
The Mallard Order project is still in its early stages, but it has already gained a significant following. The project’s Discord server has over 10,000 members, and the NFTs have been traded for thousands of ADA.
The project is a promising new venture in the Cardano NFT and BTC Ordinal space, with a strong community, a well-defined roadmap, and a number of innovative features, including clothing, merchandise, a Discord game, and more.

As the lead illustrator for Frigid AI, I developed the visual identity for their marketing and upcoming NFT collection, embodying the innovative and user-centric ethos of the company. DONIVAN: SOUL-DETECTIVE SUPERSTAR
In a world where the music industry is shadowed by a sinister cabal, Donivan, a charismatic yet overshadowed rockstar, suspects foul play when his legendary rival and perpetual competitor dies under mysterious circumstances. After falling victim to the same shadowy fate, Donivan finds himself in limbo where his rival reveals the truth: they were both murdered by the cabal. Armed with a resurrection bestowed by his rival, and newfound mystical music powers that influence audiences and manipulate nature, Donivan returns to the living world as a spirit detective. His mission: to expose the cabal, reclaim lost royalties for deceived artists, and revive the soulful, spiritual essence of music.

In a dystopian future where a new psycoemotional disorder called metapsychosis awakens deadly superpowers, Martin, a metapsycho turned Madjacket officer enforces medicinization of his own kind. As he and others like him are prohibited from a select gamut of emotions, his world upends when, cured through forbidden love, he embarks on a perilous journey to find his missing boyfriend, entangling with a psionic terrorist whose plot could alter humanity forever.
